Photoshop: triggering a script using a keyboard shortcut

  1. Go to Actions.
  2. Click on “+” or “Create a new Action”.
  3. Name your action, choose a key function.
  4. Click on record and execute each step to trigger your script. In our case, click on Files > Scripts > Browser > Yourscript.js.
  5. Stop recording on Actions.

There you go, you can trigger your script execution by clicking on this action.
